The 2022-23 high school boys’ basketball season ended for the Greene County Rams with a Saturday afternoon loss to Kuemper Catholic in Carroll. Coach Chris Nelson’s team fell 80-51 in a Class 2A District quarterfinal round contest that had been postponed from Thursday night due to winter weather.

The final season record is 10 wins and 13 losses, and although it’s below the .500 mark, the 10 wins was one more than last season, and more than other seasons in the recent past. In the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference, the Rams were 7-7 and in third place, marking the second straight upper division finish in the eight team league.
