There was a fatal accident involving residents of Greene County on Saturday. 

According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident at 9:11pm on 220th Street approximately a half mile west of T Avenue. A 2006 Chevrolet Colorado was headed west bound on 220th Street and crossed the centerline entering the South ditch rolling and striking a tree and both occupants of the vehicle included 32-year-old Ryan Vaughn from Jefferson and 41-year-old Shiena Hadley from Jefferson were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead from their injuries at the scene of the crash. The Iowa State Patrol is still investigating who was driving the vehicle. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, and Grand Junction Fire all responded to the rescue.
