The Chargers boys basketball team was in action Friday night, as they hosted the IKM-Manning Wolves in Class 1A Region 7 action. Senior Brock Littler led the team to an early lead, putting up 10 unanswered points, in the first few minutes. The Wolves made a comeback though, and the Chargers went into the second quarter up 24-22. The team outscored the Wolves 17-16 in the second, and went into halftime up 41-38. The third quarter was another close score, as AC/GC outscored IKM-Manning 17-16 again, to go into the fourth up 58-54. The Chargers opened things up in the final quarter though, racking up 20 points and only allowing 10 to win the game 78-64.

The Chargers had five guys score in the double digits, including 15 out of Littler, and drained a combined 14 three pointers, including four from sophomore Jathan South. The Chargers will return to action Tuesday night, against the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders.
