With large group speech events finishing last weekend, individual events are getting started this weekend.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center will be traveling to Dallas Center Grimes High School on Saturday to compete in district competition. The school will have 10 students competing in seven categories.

Addison Laughery and Kaylee Oberholtz will compete in acting, Andrew Mahaffey and Owan Dinkla will be performing musical theatre, and Bee Oldes will compete in the literary program category. Megan Kirkman will compete in prose, while Caydence Boals performs original oratory, and Kiersten Knobbe and Natalie Kent will perform in expository address while Ali Plagman competes in storytelling.
