West Central Valley sent four wrestlers to the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines for the state tournament, with the first round starting on Wednesday. Blaise Beane, Kaedon Lindsay, Zach Teague and Ayden Phippen all made the trip out on the first day, but Teague and Phippen lost their first two matches, and were eliminated. Lindsay and Beane each won their first match, then lost the second, and then won their third, before losing their fourth matches, and ending their runs.
