Greene County lost in Class 2A District boys’ basketball quarterfinal round play on Saturday afternoon at Kuemper Catholic in Carroll. The Knights improved to 16-6 while the Rams ended at 10-12. The game was delayed from Thursday night due to weather. The Knights led 35-26 at halftime, turned the widened the margin in the second half.

Senior Jesse Miller led the Rams with 23 points with 12 by junior Brynley Ruzicka and 10 from junior Gabe Ebersole. The Rams played without leading scorer Richard Daugherty and his 18 points per game. The Knights had five players score from nine to 13 points and were led by Dawson Gifford.
