The consolation rounds at the State Wrestling Tournament inside Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines are complete. The morning started with consolation semifinals, followed by placing matches in the afternoon. The finals are set to begin at 5:50 p.m.
The four area wrestlers making the finals are Kale Petersen (132) and McKinley Robbins (138) from Greene County in Class 2A, and Waukee Northwest’s duo in 3A of Koufax Christensen at 120 and Carter Freeman at 132. All three Raccoon Valley Radio stations will have those matches tonight and they will be streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage should start approximately at 6:05 p.m.
