Its day three of the IHSAA Wrestling State Championship and Dallas Center-Grimes saw nine of their qualifiers be eliminated in day two but there is still one wrestler from DCG in prime position to place on the podium.

(5 seed) Jacob Fistler wrestling at 170 and in the championship bracket quarterfinal defeated his opponent (4 seed) Seth Madden from Pella by a technical fall and now Fistler will advance to the semi-final today and face off against (1 seed) Caden McDermott from Pleasantville, who has only lost one match all year.

Jacob Fistler will take the mat for the Class 3A semi-finals at approximately 6pm. Make sure you tune into our wrestling coverage all day long and cheer on Jacob the rest of the way.
