
The Dallas County Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday.
The Board awarded the construction manager at risk contract for Turner Construction to build the new Dallas County Administration Building. Then the Board heard from Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante about replacing an aging vehicle in their fleet with a 2023 Ford Explorer and the Board approved the item for the price of $32,400. The Board amended the five year road construction program at the request of County Engineer Al Miller to include the 170th Street Bridge Replacement for a reimbursement of federal SWAP dollars. Then the Board approved the Midwest Alarm Systems Suppression Inspection Contract Addendum which inspects sprinkler, alarm and suppression systems in county buildings.
