The large schools took their turn on the State Wrestling Tournament mats at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines and 23 area athletes were in action on Wednesday night. The first round involvesdmatches with wrestlers seeded ninth through 24 with the one through eight seeds getting a bye into round two. The large school resumes wrestling at 6 o’clock tonight.
