Today is the final day for a special Valentine’s Day retail promotion in Jefferson.

The “Hello Chocolate” features several Jefferson businesses that customers can enjoy sampling chocolates while doing some holiday shopping for Valentine’s Day. Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Executive Director Matt Wetrich encourages everyone to take part and find something for a friend or a loved one for Valentine’s Day.

“There are some really unique opportunities here and some of our local retailers especially have pride themselves on supplying the local community with things that you don’t necessarily need to go snooping online, or going to the big city, or any of that good stuff for. Especially some sort of Jefferson and Greene County specific items.    

Wetrich adds when you visit one of the participating retailers, you will get more chances to win Chamber Bucks, which can be used in almost every business within Greene County. The winners will be announced on Monday.
