The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Thursday.

The Board started by approving two payroll change notices for Shane Martinson and Ki Fleming, who are both employed by the Sheriff’s Office. They then heard an update from the Sheriff’s Office, in which Deputy Jesse Swensen said that the new kitchen in the law enforcement center has been in use for about two weeks, and that they’ve been using the laundry room as well.

The Board then made their selection of official county papers. They approved The News Gazette and the Guthrie County Times Vedette in a 3-2 split vote. Supervisors Mike Dickson and JD Kuster were the two to vote no, as Dickson pointed out that subscribers to the papers must have been subscribed for at least six months, and none of the three submissions listed starting dates for subscriptions.
