An elected official met with the Adel Economic Development Group and the Adel Chamber of Commerce to update them on county wide activities on Thursday in the Raccoon Valley Bank Boardroom.
Dallas County Board of Supervisor Mark Hanson had a conversation with business resources in the Adel area and gave them insight on plans and where the county is headed in 2023. Hanson told Raccoon Valley Radio the number of things he talked about.
“So I shared with them, you know, a number of things going on with roads or the sheriff’s office or the treasurer or the auditor and plans for the courthouse and ongoing rehabilitation there, as well as the work that’s going on, looking at a new administrative building to house a number of those county functions.”
Hanson is excited about the county getting an administration building up and running that will house all the administrative activities on the Adel Square which will take roughly 18 months to build and cost up to $17 million.
