A deadline is coming up for a few youth soccer programs with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.
The U10/U12 and U14 Girls and U15 Boys Soccer Leagues are partnering with the Boone Soccer Club for the upcoming season. The U10/U12 League will have practices starting March 13th with all practices to take place at the Greene County High School football field in Jefferson and all games to be at the Des Moines Area Community College campus in Boone. The costs are $70 to register, $18 for a jersey, $7 for shorts, and $5 for soccer socks.
The U14 Girls and U15 Boys Leagues also have practices that begin on March 13th also at the high school football field in Jefferson. This is a traveling league with games played in various locations. The costs include $20 for either a red or white jersey, $7 for shorts, $5 for soccer socks.
The deadline to sign up for any of the leagues is February 15th. Parents or guardians must register their kids through the Greene County Community Center, as well as online with the Boone Soccer Club, which you can click the link below.
