Friday, February 3rd
12:06pm: A deputy was advised of a dog running around the 300 blk of 17th Street North in Grand Junction.
12:36pm: A deputy investigated an aggressive dog in the 100 blk of Cartwright Street in Rippey.
12:40pm: A deputy was advised of multiple parking complaints in the City of Scranton.
12:48pm: A deputy assisted Grand Junction Rescue and Greene County ambulance in the 300 blk of Cartwright Street in Rippey.
1:03pm: A deputy was advised of a child custody issue in the 600 blk od Adrian Street in Churdan.
4:00pm: John Cook (51) of Fort Dodge was booked into the Greene County Jail on warrants for gambling-avoid setoff, and fraudulent practice 2nd degree.
4:42pm: A deputy was advised of a raccoon in the shelter house at the City Park in Churdan. The complainant was concerned about children playing in the area.
6:00pm: Jacoby Winters (29) of Bayard was booked into the Greene County Jail to serve his sentence.
Saturday, February 4th
11:09am: A deputy was advised of cattle out in the 2200 blk of 220th Street.
12:04pm: A deputy assisted a motorist in the 1900 blk of E Avenue.
12:05pm: A deputy transported an inmate from the Greene County Jail to the Oakdale Prison.
2:57pm: A deputy assisted Dallas County EMS in the 2300 blk of 290th Street.
5:00pm: A deputy and an Iowa State Trooper were advised of a careless driver in the 1000 blk of N Avenue.
7:34pm: A deputy performed a traffic stop in the 1000 blk of 220th Street. The traffic stop is under investigation for possible illegal drugs inside the vehicle.
9:52pm: On February 4th, 2023, at 9:52 pm the Greene County Communication Center received a 911 call from 1002 Main Street East Grand Junction, IA. The caller reported they fell and hit their head against a door. When Grand Junction Rescue arrived, they assessed the scene and advised the Greene County Deputy it was a possible gunshot wound. This was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
Sunday, February 5th
10:38 Adam Coy (31) of Grand Junction was booked into the Greene County Jail for attempted murder, willful injury – causing serious injury, and domestic abuse.
4:10pm: Angel Vaughan (40) of Des Moines was booked into the Greene County Jail to serve her sentence.
4:28pm: A deputy was advised of a dog running loose in the 1100 blk of 220th Street. The deputy was unable to locate the dog.
4:57pm: A deputy was advised of a possible stolen vehicle in the 1100 blk of N Avenue. The deputy located the vehicle, and it was determined the vehicle was not stolen.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
