Thursday night the AC/GC Chargers played host to the Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders. Both teams played close games, but ultimately fell short, ending in a pair of losses. The girls team started off slow, but came back in the second half, and ended the game down 37-49. The boys team stayed in a close match the entire night, never scoring less than three points behind the Crusaders in each quarter. At the end of the first half, the Chargers were down 29-31, and finished off the game with a 59-64 loss. A key highlight for the night was the shooting performance by sophomore Payton Policky, who went 7 of 7 for 14 points, and hauled down a total of 7 rebounds as well.

Friday night both teams made a trip to Pleasantville, where they came away with a pair of victories over the Trojans. The girls team presented a commanding performance, holding the Trojans to less than 10 points each quarter, and ending the game with a 61-21 win. The boys team had a bit of a closer game, but with a 21-8 performance in the first quarter, the Chargers jumped out to an early lead, and ended the night with a 67-53 win against the Trojans.
