Nevada won both games of Friday’s girl/boy basketball doubleheader in the high school gym in Jefferson. The Cubs were (   ) girls’ winners, then followed that up with a (  ) boys’ victory.

It was Athletic Hall of Fame Night with the five 2023 inductees being introduced between games. They are Bryce Paup (Scranton 1986), Mark Lane (Jefferson-Scranton 1991), Allison Drewry (J-S ’94), Kelly Lane (J-S ’98), and longtime local broadcaster Doug Rieder.
