Down a starter and a reserve due to injury, the Greene County varsity girls’ basketball team lost at Des Moines Hoover in Thursday night non-conference play by a final of 48-43. Coach Tori Ogden’s Rams are 0-18 overall heading into Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play tonight at home in Jefferson vs. Nevada. The Huskies are 2-16 and they play winless Des Moines East tonight. The point total was a season high for Greene County and the final margin was the closest game this season for the Rams.
