The West Central Valley Wildcats headed to Guthrie Center for a face off against conference rivals the AC/GC Chargers. The Wildcats came out on top fast, going up 10-2 in the first quarter, and ended the first half up 15-9. The Wildcats were unable to hold the Chargers back in the third quarter though and went into the fourth down 24-20. In the final quarter, West Central Valley was able to tie things up, before AC/GC hit a shot in the final seconds, and ended up losing 32-34.
The boys team started off slow, but made a short comeback in the first quarter to trail 14-17 going into the second quarter. The Wildcats were outscored 19-9 in the second though, and went into halftime down 23-36. In the third they made a concentrated effort, scoring 13, before they were held to 8 in the fourth, ultimately falling 44-73.
