For the second time in five days the Paton-Churdan and Woodbine girls’ basketball teams met in Rolling Valley Activities Conference play. The Tigers are ranked number 11 in Class 1A by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union and they topped the Rockets in Churdan by a 57-18 score on Friday night.

P-C fell to 1-17 overall and the Rockets were led in scoring by freshman Becca Anderson with nine points. Seniors Emma Stream and Bailey Anderson rounded out the scoring with six and three points, respectively.Woodbine had points from 10 different players with no one scoring more than 10 points.

The Woodbine JV topped P-C in boys’ basketball, 51-38. The Tigers had four players score from nine to 13 points. The Rockets had 18 points from Shaydon Thurman and 14 by Phoenix Hartman.
