The West Central Valley Wildcats played host to the Van Meter Bulldogs in West Central Activities Conference play Friday night. The girls team started things off a little slow, only scoring 9 points in the first half. They picked things up in the second half, grabbing another 18 points, but ultimately fell 50-27.

The boys team started out the same way, starting down 9-24 going into the second quarter. The Wildcats outscored the Bulldogs 33-31 in the next two quarters, but after being held to only 7 points in the final quarter, they were ultimately defeated 49-77.
