Today is the registration deadline day for Adel Parks and Recreation for some  youth spring weather sports 

There are multiple youth spring baseball and softball leagues, with age ranges including t-ball for 5 and 6-year-olds, rookie for 7 and 8-year-olds, minor for 9 and 10-year-olds and major for 11 and 12-year-olds.

Baseball games will typically be played at the Little League Complex and softball will be at the Youth Softball Complex at Kinnick-Feller Park in Adel. Games will be played on different days throughout the week depending on the age group, and all games will begin at 6 p.m. 

The cost to participate in any of the leagues is $85 except for t-ball which is $70 and those wanting to participate must register before midnight tonight.  Volunteer coaches are also needed.
