One Greene County official was nominated to serve on a statewide board.

Greene County Engineer Wade Weiss is representing the county engineers on the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) Board of Directors. The duties of the ISAC Board of Directors includes electing officers from the members of the Board, developing and monitoring strategic plans, setting policies, recommending the ISAC budget to its members, enhancing the organization’s public standing, among others. 

Weiss also serves on the National Association of Counties via ISAC Board of Directors.
