If you’re looking for some fun and free entertainment, all you need is your Mary J Barnett Memorial Library card.

The card can be used to book an Iowa Adventure Pass, which gives free admittance to both the Blank Park Zoo and Science Center of Iowa once per year. The pass allows two adults and two children to visit both the zoo and science center. To get signed up, all you need is the library card. You just call the library at the number below, and they can help get you your Adventure Pass.

Library cardholders may reserve a pass once every 365 days. Individuals also have to live in Guthrie Center, or in rural Guthrie Center, and be 18 years old or older.
