The AC/GC Chargers split a doubleheader against the Interstate 35 Roadrunners in West Central Activities Conference play Friday night. The girls started off slow, but kept things close. They finished the first quarter down 6-9, and went into the halftime break down 14-21. They came back in the third quarter, and went into the fourth down 24-30, before being outscored 8-14 to finish the game with a 32-44 loss.

The boys team went the opposite way, with a 22-3 lead at the end of the first quarter. After some more dominant play in the second, the Chargers headed to the locker room for the halftime break up 42-17. AC/GC came back out from the break and put up another 21 points to go into the final quarter up 63-24 with a continuous clock. The scoring slowed down a bit in the fourth as some of the younger players got to come out and play, and the Chargers went on to win the game 72-36.
