A Dallas Center man was involved in a two vehicle crash which caused an injury. 

According to the Iowa State Patrol, they responded to a crash at 6:20pm on Friday in Storm Lake where a 2022 GMC Terrain SUV driven by 40-year-old Ann Krummen of Storm Lake was traveling eastbound on Highway 71 and 600 street and failed to yield to the right of way at a stop sign and collided with a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado in the intersection driven by 37-year-old Michael Sly from Dallas Center. 

Krummen was injured in the accident and transported by air ambulance to Mercy One Hospital in Sioux City.  The Iowa State Patrol suspected alcohol to be a factor in the crash. Buena Vista Sheriff’s Office and Storm Lake Police Department assisted at the scene.
