It’s West Marshall (State Center) at Greene County tonight in a Heart of Iowa Activities Conference girl/boy basketball doubleheader on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com from the high school gym in Jefferson. The WM girls and Greene County boys were winners the first time these teams met in State Center last month.
The WM girls are ranked fifth in Class 3A by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union with a 16-1 record and 9-1 HOIAC mark. Greene County is 0-15 on the season and 0-10 in the league. The final in the first game was 74-16.
The Greene County boys are 7-8 overall and 6-4 in conference games while the Trojans are 7-10 and 4-6. The Rams won 68-44 the first time the teams met behind a 31 point third quarter. Both teams are coming off victories in their most recent contests.
