Dallas Center-Grimes basketball will be back at home after a long game road stretch against Oskaloosa tonight.

The girls Mustang basketball team concludes a four game road schedule with three wins over Pella, Grinnell, Newton and one loss to Ankeny. DCG is fairly comfortable at home with a (5-2) season record and they have won those five games by an average of 16 points. They will take on a familiar opponent who they beat by 22 points, 64 to 42 on December 16th. The Mustangs shot 40 percent, hit 9 three pointers and Emma Miner dominated the game with a double-double scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. The girls game between the(13-3) Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs and the Oskaloosa Indians will tip at 6:15pm in Meadows Gym.

Then the boys game will tip with the conclusion of the girls game. Dallas Center-Grimes enters the game with a two game losing streak and ending a five game road schedule with only two wins to show from it against Pella and Grinnell. The Mustangs are (2-2) at home this season and will face an Indian team that they beat 67 to 61 on the road in late December. They relied on Hudson Ehlert and Jackson Green scoring the ball and caused 22 turnovers in the first matchup. They’ll have to do the same tonight. (8-5) Mustangs take on the (1-12) Indians tonight.
