The Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield will be hosting a Successful Communities Speaker Series on February 5th at 2pm.

The forum is set to examine various aspects of challenges and opportunities for economic development in small rural communities. Iowa House District 23 Representative Ray Sorensen will be a guest speaker, discussing the role of state government in economic development for rural Iowa.

Two panels will follow the forum, covering things like the successes and challenges for small businesses. Executive Director of the Iowa Rural Development Committee Bill Menner will be the guest moderator after the discussions.
