Anthony Cortez, Clive, was driving in the 19000 block of W Ave when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $6000.  The vehicle was privately towed from the scene.

Jan. 20

Austin Worthington, age 26, 2065 While Pole Road, Casey, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Under Suspension.

Shei Shoe, Des Moines, was driving in the 32000 block of Panther Creek Rd, when the vehicle slid into a ditch.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $8000.  The vehicle was towed from the scene. There was a reported $100 damage done to a mailbox and garbage can at the scene.

Colleen Biegger, Clive, was stopped, preparing to turn onto Nappa Valley Drive from Ute Ave, when her vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Dennis Young, Waukee.  No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Biegger’s car was estimated at $4000.  Damage to Mr. Young’s car was estimated at $3000.  Mr. Young was issued a citation for Failure To Stop In Assured Clear Distance.

Jan. 21

Jeremy Smith, age 25, 2423 Spencer St, Omaha, NE, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

Jan. 22

Steven Caldwell, age 47, 15742 Tanner Lane, Woodward, was arrested for Contempt – Violation Of No Contact Order.

Holly Russell, age 38, 322 Barton Street, Dexter, was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault.

Joshua Chapman, Redfield, was driving on 1st Street at River To River Road, when he slid off the roadway and into a utility pole.  No injuries were reported and damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2500.  Damage to the utility pole and wiring was estimated at $5000.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.
