A popular winter activity will be happening for the first time this season in Greene County.

County Conservation Director Tanner Scheuermann tells Raccoon Valley Radio the sledding hill at Seven Hills Park will be open this weekend from 1:30-4:30pm tomorrow and Sunday. He says for people that have been there before, he encourages them to go back and invites new individuals and families because they just installed a new automatic rope pull this past fall.

Anyone who wants to sled must bring their own equipment but it is free and open to the public. Scheuermann adds there must be at least four inches of snow before the sledding hill can be open and the temperatures must be above zero with the windchill.
