2:13am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an open door in the 300 block of North Elm Street.

6:55am: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on 220th Street and J Avenue. Jerry Mills 48 of Jefferson struck a deer with a 2007 Toyota Tundra. The estimated damage to the vehicle is 900 dollars.

7:17am: A deputy assisted with cattle out on W Avenue near 240th Street.

7:42am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on W Avenue near 260th Street.

11:42am: The Sheriff investigated a fraud complaint in the 400 block of East Hager Street, Grand Junction.

12:53pm: The Sheriff investigated a child custody dispute in the 1900 block of 130th Street.

1:00pm: Devin Villalobos 21 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for a parole violation.

3:42pm: A deputy investigated an animal neglect complaint in the 1100 block of Forest Avenue.

Thursday, January 19th

4:54am: A deputy investigated a complaint of a low hanging power line in the 400 block of 11th Street, Grand Junction.

6:09am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near H Avenue.

9:37am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 300th Street near Terrace Avenue.

10:17am: The Sheriff assisted with a house fire in the 400 block of East State Street, Jefferson. Jefferson Fire, Grand Junction Fire, and Greene County Ambulance responded to the fire.

3:15pm: Richard Fay 63 of Churdan was booked into the jail for theft 2nd degree.

3:21pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near Oakland Avenue.

4:27pm: A deputy and Grand Junction Fire responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Eckstine Street, Dana. There was a hot outlet found with no damage to the house.

7:26pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Grant Street, Scranton.

Friday, January 20th

4:01am: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

4:38am: A deputy assisted a motorist on 220th Street near N Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
