Students representing Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Perry High Schools will make their way to the District Large Group Speech competitions this weekend.

ADM High School will have 74 students that make up 12 groups at the district competition in Creston on Saturday. The categories performing include One Acting, Reader’s Theatre, Choral Reading, Ensemble Acting, Improv, Radio News, and TV News.

Also, Perry High School will be sending 12 students in nine groups at Johnston to perform in categories that include Readers Theater, Musical Theater, Radio Broadcasting, Improv and Short Film.

Those earning a Division 1 rating at District Contest will move to State Large Group Speech Contest at Waukee High School on February 4th.
