The public is invited to watch the Dallas County Conservation release a rescued bird. 

In late October of 2022, the conservation department rescued a bald eagle from Kuehn Conservation Area. The eagle was sent to the local regional wildlife rehabilitator and the bird was diagnosed and provided care. Now the eagle is healthy and ready to reenter the wild. DCCG will be releasing the bald eagle on Sunday January 22nd from 1 to 2:30pm at the Kuehn Conservation Area and is inviting the community to join them.
