Dallas County Conservation will team up with Iowa State University Extension to teach about the importance of water quality. 

The “Build Your Own Rain Barrel” program gives attendees the tools to construct their own rain barrel to reduce flooding and storm pollution on their property. Participants will also learn about water quality in Iowa. This event takes place from 9 to 11am on Saturday at the Extension Office on the Dallas County Fairgrounds in Adel. Registration is required with the fee of $20 and all materials will be provided.
