Adel Public Library is increasing their programming to draw more teenagers into the library and that continues this week.
They will have an afternoon of bingo and hot cocoa for teens in sixth through 12th grade from 4 to 5:30pm on Thursday at the Adel Public Library. Patron Services Manager Amy Puck says the library wants to be a hangout location for teenagers on Thursdays.
“We’ll bring out our hot chocolate and we will have little snackies and since we’re playing bingo we’re going to have a few prizes for the teens so we encourage them to come on in after school and hang out. It’ll be a good environment and very engaging.”
Next Thursday the library will have a giant 3D snowflake craft for teenagers. For any additional questions contact the Adel Public Library for more.
