This week in Greene County varsity basketball, the Rams play tomorrow and Friday nights, both on the road. First up is a trip to Jewell to face South Hamilton on Jan. 17, followed by the longest trip of the season on Jan. 20 to Monroe and games vs. PCM.

The Rams are coming off a pair of losses on Friday in Story City vs. Roland-Story. The final in the girls’ game was 60-25 and the boys’ game ended 72-48. Those games began the second Heart of Iowa Activities Conference rotation. The Greene County girls are 0-8 in conference games and 0-13 overall while the boys are 4-4 in league play and 5-8 on the season. After playing at Jewell, the Rams will be two-thirds of the way through the regular season.
