Friday, January 13th
8:10am: A traffic stop at Walnut St. and Central St. resulted in Kyle Miller, of Rippey, being issued a citation for “Dark Window / Windshield”.
6:56pm: An Officer was called to the 100 block of S. Chestnut St. in regard to a verbal altercation between juveniles. The Officer advised all involved subjects to stay away from each other.
10:02pm: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS at 777 Wild Rose Ln.
Saturday, January 14th
8:30am: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 600 block of W. Madison St.
12:26pm: An Officer was advised of a semi traveling at a high rate of speed on Hwy. 30. The Officer observed the vehicle but did not see any traffic infractions.
5:56pm: An Officer was given a wallet that had been found at a local business. The Officer contacted the owner.
Sunday, January 15th
12:21am: A traffic stop at N. Elm St. and Hwy. 30 resulted in Ameen Salaam, Dolton, IL, being issued a citation for “Fail to Obey Stop Sign”. During the traffic stop a probable cause search of the vehicle was performed. Suspected controlled substances were located. Charges are pending the completion of an investigation.
12:26am: An Officer received a noise complaint taking place in the 100 block of N. Cedar St. The Officer checked the area but did not see anything out of the ordinary.
1:28am: An Officer was called to a residence in the 600 block of N. Locust St. in regard to a juvenile that could not be located. The juvenile was subsequently located. The parents handled the situation.
7:22am: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 100 block of Ram Dr.
10:09pm: An Officer was advised of commercial alarm activation at a business in the 100 block of W. Washington St. The Officer determined the alarm was a mechanical error.
