The Stuart Police Department has filed criminal charges against two suspects for an alleged incident that happened last month.

According to a press release by the Stuart Police Department, 34-year-old Brittani Kinney and 45-year-old Joseph Reusswig, both of Des Moines, were involved in an alleged burglary of a daycare facility on December 27th.

During the investigation, video evidence showed the suspects entering the daycare facility and committing the thefts. Digital evidence helped to provide the identity of the individuals and arrest warrants have been issued. It’s believed that both defendants are staying in the Des Moines Metro Area, but that they frequent the Stuart and Menlo areas.
