Friday, January 6th

11:33am: An Officer was called to the area of Mulberry St. and Central Ave. in regard to a dog running at large. The Officer located the dog and identified the owner. The Officer issued a citation for “Animal Running at Large’ to Richard Burkhardt, of Jefferson.

2:09pm: An Officer arrested Whitney Case on a Guthrie County arrest warrant.

4:07pm: A traffic stop at Elm St. and Russell St. resulted in a citation being issued to Levi Dawson, of Jefferson, for “Operating a Non Registered Vehicle”.

7:58pm: An Officer took a Criminal Mischief Complaint in the 500 block of W. State St. The Officer is investigating.

Saturday, January 7th

12:32am: An Officer was advised of a 911 call from a residence in the 700 block of W. Harrison St. The Officer determined it was an accidental dial.

4:12am: An Officer investigated a suspicious person in the 100 block of N. Wilson St. The Officer spoke to the subject about his actions.

10:30am: An Officer provided a funeral escort.

11:04am: An Officer removed debris from the road at Elm St. and Hwy. 30

12:47pm: An Officer removed debris from the road at Madison St. and Vine St.

12:48pm: An Officer responded to a residence in the 600 block of S. Olive St. in regard to a theft. The Officer is investigating.

1:54pm: An Officer responded to a residence in the 300 block of E. Lincoln Way in regard to a juvenile who was “out of control”. The Officer subsequently charged a juvenile female with “Criminal Mischief 5th Degree”.

3:32pm: An Officer responded to a residence in the 300 block of E. Lincoln Way in regard to a juvenile female having a mental health crisis. The Officer transported the juvenile to the hospital for treatment.

3:29pm: An Officer received two calls about a dog running at large near Adams St. and Chestnut St. The Officer located the dog and identified the owner. The Officer issued citations to Alicia Hawkins, of Jefferson, for “Animal Running at Large”, “Tag Not Secured to Animal”, and “Annual Animal License Requirement”.

5:21pm: An Officer responded to the 300 block of N. Wilson Ave. in regard to possible controlled substance violations. The Officer is investigating.

7:47pm: An Officer responded to a residence in the 100 block of S. Maple St. in regard to a harassment situation. The Officer is investigating.

7:50pm: An Officer responded to a business in the 300 block of W. Reed St. in regard to found property. The Officer collected the property.

Sunday, January 8th

1:43am: An officer was requested at 307 West South Street for a possible Harassment Issue. During the interaction, the female victim advised the officer of a recent assault to her, by her boyfriend. The officer is continuing to investigate the matter, with charges pending.

9:05am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 600 Block of West Lincoln Way Street.

1:11pm: Stephanie Wiskus advised of a Stray Dog in the 900 Block of West State Street. The officer was unable to locate the reported animal in the area.

1:50pm: Rich Rubens reported an Open Door at the residence located at 304 West Washington Street. The officer secured the door and notified the property owner of his actions.

7:16pm: An officer checked 204 West Harrison Street, after dispatch had received a 911 Hang Up from the facility. The officer did not locate anyone needing assistance.

8:03pm: A caller advised of a Stray Dog near Cedar and Harrison Streets. The officer did not locate the animal.
