The Guthrie Center City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
The Council will consider for approval liquor licenses for Hometown Foods and Pine Room, a fence permit for the 800 block of Ashton Avenue and billing grant costs for housing rehabilitation program through Region X11 Council of Governments.
They will also consider for approval a renewal of the Ziegler maintenance agreement, and hear the annual update from Mary J Barnett Library Director Jerri Hawkins and an update from JD Kuster on the brick street closure. The Council will also hear an update from the Guthrie Center Mayor, Wastewater and Streets Superintendent Darin Sloss, which may move into a closed session, and a report from city hall. The meeting will begin at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting later in the week.
