A longtime supply chain professional will now assume the position as the Dallas County Recorder.

The voters of Dallas County elected ReNae Arnold as their new county recorder. Arnold is from Adel and has spent 21 years as a professional in the supply chain and logistics industry while also serving as the treasurer with the Dallas County Republicans. Arnold stresses teamwork when trying to make the office run smoothly and efficiently.

“I’m really about empowering the employees to bring forth their ideas for the office. I’m anxious to learn things that they have seen over the years. There’s decades of experience in this office and I really want them to feel like they can tell me things that need to be improved on. And with my background, I can help give them the tools they need to accomplish those goals.”

Arnold is replacing Chad Airhart who spent 12 years as the county recorder. Arnold’s term will last until 2026.
