First Interstate Bank recently donated over 12,000 clothing items to local Dallas County community partners and schools.

The First Interstate Bank Coats and More Drive started in 2009 and is held annually in the fourth quarter by collecting winter clothing like coats, gloves, boots and other various warm items for local non-profits. Director of Community Relations Amberly Pahut was pleased with the amount of items they received and donated this year.

“For us as First Interstate Bank, it’s very important to us that all of our communities thrive and the coats and more drive really exists so that those in our communities really do not go without basic necessities, just like a winter coat.”

The First Interstate Bank has 300 branches in 14 states, including one in Perry, participating in the Coats and More Drive which has collected and distributed over 63,000 items since 2009.
