Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers wrestling was on the mat on Thursday as they took on multiple schools in Carlisle. The event was their first in the 2023 calendar year, and they were able to go 1-2 in their three duals, with a 38-37 win over Grinnell, and losses to Dallas Center – Grimes 59-12 and Carlisle 63-12.

Ben Smith and Grayson Sutter were both able to get wins over Carlisle via decision, while Carter Madison, Jake Alexander, and Drew Holman were all able to grab some wins against Dallas Center – Grimes. The Tigers were able to get seven different wins over Grinnell in a nice team victory, with five of those wins able to be recorded via a fall.

The Tigers will quickly return to the mat tomorrow, when they wrestle against multiple schools down in Winterset in what should be a competitive tournament.
