The West Central Valley Wildcats split games Tuesday night, as they hosted the Interstate 35 Roadrunners in doubleheader action. The girls team started off slow, only scoring 2 points in the first quarter, and went into halftime down 8-19. They scored 15 points in the second half, but ultimately came up short, falling 23-44 at the end of the game.
The boys team played in a nail-biter. The Wildcats were outscored 12-20 in the first quarter, but outscored the Roadrunners 17-14 in the second to go into halftime down 29-34. West Central Valley came back in the second half, outscoring the Roadrunners 33-27, and winning the game 62-61.
The Wildcats return to action Friday night when they host the Woodward-Granger Hawks for doubleheader action.
