The Perry Public Library will begin a new monthly book club tomorrow.

The “Never Too Old for Young Adult Book Club,” kicks off from 6 to 7pm tomorrow in the Library Community Room and then will meet the first Wednesday of every month. This monthly book club will be a discussion of books that appeal to young adults. Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer encourages readers to come and participate.

“And if you are an adult and you think,’Oh, young adult books are, for me,’ this is a great way to get a taste of some awesome, usually new literature that’s coming out for younger (people).”

The first book they will read is fiction and called “With the Fire on High” by Elizabeth Acevedo.

This program is free and open to young adults and teens but registration is required through the library. The list of books is already planned through June and that will be linked here.
