Friday, December 30th

6:28am: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 500 block of N. Grimmell Rd.

10:03am: An Officer was called to the 600 block of W. Lincoln Way in regard to two juveniles having a disagreement. The Officer provided advice.

11:09am: An Officer was called to a residence in the 800 block of W. Lincoln Way in regard to a theft. The Officer is investigating.

1:13pm: An Officer was called to the 600 block of W. South St. in regard to a dog that was allowed to run at large. The Officer spoke to the owner and resolved the issue.

2:51pm: An Officer was called to the 300 block of E. Washington St. in regard to a property dispute. The Officer provided advice.

3:57pm: An Officer was called to the intersection of Hwy. 30 and Mulberry St. in regard to a vehicle collision. A 2009 Mitsubishi Galant, owned by Matthew Pittman and operated by Anaiah Twillie, of Jefferson, had been traveling westbound on Highway 30. A 2020 Ford Explorer, owned and operated by James Eischeid, of Jefferson, entered the Highway from Mulberry Street without yielding to the other vehicle. The vehicles collided within the intersection. Damage to the Eischeid was estimated at $15,000. Damage to the Pittman vehicle was estimated at $10,000. Eischeid was issued a citation for “Fail to Yield Upon Entering Through Highway”.

4:42pm: An Officer was called to the 200 block of N. Wilson St. in regard to a parked vehicle that had been “bumped” by another vehicle’s door. There was no damage caused.

6:43pm: A traffic stop resulted in an Officer conducting a vehicle search. The Officer located suspected controlled substances. The Substances were sent to the DCI Lab. The incident remains under investigation.

9:35pm: A traffic stop resulted in an Officer conducting a vehicle search. The Officer located suspected controlled substances. The Substances were sent to the DCI Lab. The incident remains under investigation.

Saturday, December 31st

1:48am: A traffic stop at Elm St. and Adams St. resulted in Justin Lopez, of Jefferson, being arrested for “Driving While Barred”.

1:46am: An Officer performed a welfare check in the 100 block of W. Wilcox Way. It was determined that no assistance was needed.

10:37am: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 1200 block of Westwood Dr.

2:33pm: An Officer assisted a motorist at Wilson Ave. and Central St.

4:05pm: An Officer was advised of two dogs running at large near Madison St. and Oak St. The Officer was unable to find the dogs.

6:21pm: An Officer was advised of a possible intoxicated driver approaching Jefferson on Hwy. 30. It was later reported that the vehicle turned northbound prior to arriving in Jefferson.

6:42pm: An Officer assisted a motorist on Hwy. 4, north of Hwy. 30.

9:12pm: An Officer was advised of fireworks being ignited in the 700 block of N. Cedar St. The Officer located the source of the fireworks. The subject responsible said the issue would be resolved.

9:55pm: An Officer was called to Wild Rose Casino in regard to a subject not having an identification to gain entry. The Officer provided assistance. There was no criminal activity.

11:49pm: An Officer was advised of loud music in the 100 block of N. Grimmell Rd. The Officer located the source of the music. The subject responsible turned the music down.

Sunday, January 1st

9:21am: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 100 block of Ram Dr.

9:27am: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 1000 block of W. Washington St.

1:06pm: An Officer was advised of two dogs running at large near Madison St. and Oak St. The Officer identified the owner of the dogs and subsequently issued Jordan Lawson, of Jefferson, a citation for “Animals Running at Large”.

2:33pm: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 400 block of N. Olive St.

3:37pm: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 500 block of W. Greenewood Rd.

4:42pm: An Officer was advised of a careless driver on Hwy. 30 near Mulberry St. The Officer did not locate the vehicle.

7:05pm: An Officer was advised of a careless driver on Hwy. 30 approaching Jefferson. The Officer did not locate the vehicle.

10:51pm: An Officer was called to Wild Rose Casino in regard to a subject using a fictitious identification. The Officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Wilson Agustin- Salvador, of Perry, for “Possession of Fictitious License, ID Card, or Form” and “Providing False Identification Information”.

Monday, January 2nd

10:21am: An Officer was advised of possible suspicious activity near Gallup Rd. and Mulberry St. The Officer did not see anything out of the ordinary.

12:55pm: An Officer issued a “Parking Violation Notice” in the 300 block of N. Oak St., to Manuel Castellanos, of Perry.

2:58pm: An Officer was advised of a dog running at large in the 900 block of W. Adams St. The Officer transported the dog to PAWS.

2:58pm: An Officer was advised of a dog running at large in the 1600 block of Westwood 

Dr. The Officer transported the dog to PAWS.

3:17pm: An Officer was advised of a possible intoxicated driver in the 500 block of N. Elm St. The Officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Devin Villalobos, of Jefferson, for “Operating Under the Influence – 1st Offense”.

4:00pm: An Officer was advised of a dog running at large in the 700 block of N. Cedar St. The Officer did not locate the dog.

4:03pm: An Officer was advised of a possible burglary in progress in the 100 block of W. Central Ave. It was later determined that no criminal activity was taking place.

5:37pm: An Officer was advised of a theft that took place in the 600 block of Hwy. 30 East. The Officer is investigating.
