The Perry Fire Department responded to a fire Sunday.

According to the Perry Police Department, they responded to a fire at 5:24am on 705 Jones Street, along with the Perry Fire Department. Perry Fire Chief Chris Hinds tells Raccoon Valley Radio that it’s believed an electrical fire started in the garage, before moving to the rest of the home. He adds that the home is a total loss.

The Bagley Volunteer Fire Department was also on scene to help with the fire. Hinds mentions that both houses beside the fire were saved, an impressive feat with the damage that was done to the burning home. He adds that no one was in the house at the time of the fire.
