To begin the 2023 portion of the Greene County High School wrestling season, the Rams have two dates on the schedule this week, but one of those was changed late last week. Greene County cancelled its originally scheduled triangular at home set for Jan. 3 because one of the teams backed out. Last Thursday, Activities Director Dave Wright got the Rams another triangular, this time at Ft. Dodge St. Edmond vs. the host Gaels, along with Iowa Falls-Alden, a pair of North Central Conference programs. The event starts at 6 p.m. with St. Edmond and IF-A meeting, then its the Rams and Gaels, followed by Greene County and the Cadets.

Coach Zach Beekman’s team rounds out the first week of January at the Atlantic Invitational on Saturday. It’s a nearly 20 team event with highly ranked teams and individuals competing.
