The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet tomorrow, due to the New Year’s Day holiday observance today.
The Board will consider for approval the December 30th cash count and hear a 2024 fiscal year funding request from the Bell Tower Community Foundation. Then the Board will hold its organizational meeting by setting the meeting dates, times and location for regular board meetings, along with county business hours, holidays, establishing the official newspapers, board assignments, county office deputies, depositories and other full time appointments for the year.
Finally, the Board will consider for approval transferring $50,000 from the general fund to the conservation reserve fund, $8,000 from the general fund to the bike trail fund and $5,000 from local option sales and services tax to the bike trail fund, for the current fiscal year.
